CHAPTER 2. MMC Programming
[706] SYSTEM SPEED DIAL BY NAME
Allows a name up to 11 characters to be entered for each system speed dial location.
This name enables the speed dial number to be located when using the directory dial fea-
ture.
ENTERING CHARACTERS
Refer to ENTERING CHARACTERS in MMC 104, STATION NAME.

1. Press Transfer button and enter 706.
Display shows:
2. Dial system speed entry number (e.g., 505)
OR
Press Volume button to select entry number and
press Right Soft button to move cursor.
3. Enter name using dial keypad and press Right Soft
button to return to step 2.
OR
Press the F key to return to MMC 705, step 3.
4. If you want to save the speed dial number and name
data to the CLI translation table (MMC 728),
press ANS/RLS button and dial 1 for YES.
(The speed dial number must exist)
