Data class archives

Value change in data class archives
A data class archive can be opened and edited like a normal SINUMERIK archive in the
SINUMERIK archive comparison. A feature of the *.ard archive is that values in data classes
can only be changed. New identifiers cannot be added nor can existing identifiers be deleted.
Opening a data class archive
Proceed as follows to make changes to a data class archive:
1. Select via quick start or the "File" > "SINUMERIK archive comparison" menu.
2. Open the desired data class archive via "File"> "Open".
Following the path and the designation of the data class archive, the data classes contained
in the archive are shown in square brackets .
The following example contains the data classes: DCI, DCM and DCU.
