Predefined axis assignment for the EPLAN add-in
With the aid of the table in the "Predefined axis assignment" dialog, the required assigned for
the axis can be configured for each DO in the DO list.
The predefined axis assignment is only used for the import of a topology from the EPLAN Add-
In via the Siemens Data Exchange "*.sdx" format.
Whereby, the preconfiguration of the DOs used in the specific topology is performed in the
axis-drive assignment.
You can specify an axis name, the setpoint type, as well as the NC drive to be used for the
transport, for a selected axis.
In addition to the setpoint interface, you can also specify the axis to which the two encoders
are to be assigned. You can also configure the actual value type to be used and the NC
measuring system.
The table allows any number of DOs to be assigned to the same axis. If the topology selected
for the import in Topo uses several DOs, for which the assignment to the same axis has been
configured, this assignment is rejected with a message.

The topology comparison offers the option of comparing two topologies as well as components
- or to synchronize the individual properties of a component.
