You can open the dialog in Expert at: "Project folder" > "Package" tab > "Language" > "Manage
resources" via the
Double-click a "*.ts" language resource file to open the Resource Editor (Page 358).
The resource files are generally below the language folderin the "List of language resources".
During the package execution, those resource files are used that correspond to the language
selection in the assigned language folder. If the package does not find a file in the language
folder, the file is automatically sought in the "res" root folder and used.
The "res" root folder also contains the language folders.
This behavior of the package has two advantages:
1. During the conversion of a project less than CMC 4.8 to the current version, all resource
files are stored in the "res" root folder. This is required because the language is unknown
and therefore there is no automatic assignment to a language folder. You can move these
files to a language folder at any time.
2. Resource files that are used language-neutrally in all languages, and therefore do not have
to be translated, do not have to be stored in each language folder. These files, e.g. images,
are only stored once in the "res" root folder. This avoids multiple update work.
