Change action
The "Change" action allows data in the configuration files to be adapted. Configuration files
are text files comprising one or more sections including value assignments:

To copy PLC blocks, they must be specified in archive name convention.
The naming convention has the format: TTNNNNN, whereby TT stands for
the hexadecimal type, and NNNNN for the decimal number of the block. When
necessary, add leading zeros to give 2 or 5 positions, respectively.
PLC block types:
Organization block
08 - OB
Data block
0A - DB
System data block
0B - SDB
Function
0C - FC
Function block
0E - FB
For easier identification of the function block types, the
plain-text names in parentheses are shown behind each
of the naming conventions.
Store the blocks in the following format:
● TTNNNNN
In contrast to Windows, the file system used on the NCU/PPU differentiates
between uppercase and lowercase.
For the "Operate" target area, create the folders that define how to proceed
with your data via the context menu.
This folder defines for which SINUMERIK Operate the files are copied.
Possible folders at this point are:
ALL The data is copied to all Operate on the NCU and PCU
that are accessible.
NCU The data is copied only to the Operate on the NCU/PPU.
NCU (PCU) - The data is copied only to the NCU/PPU. If no NCU/PPU
preference PCU exists, the data is copied to the PCU.
PCU The data is copied only to the Operate on the PCU.
PCU (NCU) pref‐ The data is only copied to the PCU. If no PCU exists, the
erence PCU data is copied to the NCU/PPU.
Below these folders, you now create the path for the files to be copied.
