This selection allows active configurations to be exported as a file.
Opens the "Configuration selection" dialog.
Select the configuration areas to be exported:
● Package
● Dialogs
● Steps
Clicking the "OK" button opens the "Export configuration" window. Navigate to the
desired path/folder and save the exported configuration file with file extension
"*.upcfg".
Opens the "Import configuration" window. Navigate to the desired configuration
and select the configuration file "*.upcfg".
Confirm by clicking the "Open" button to open the "Configuration selection" dialog.
Select the desired areas for the system variables to be processed.
Note
The current project settings in the selected areas will be overwritten.

Dialogs tab > Step tree...
Opens the "Options" dialog with the following tabs:
● Working directory
The path for buffering project and component data can be specified here.
The path also serves as presetting for system temporary storage.
● Start tab
You specify here whether the "Start" tab remains closed or is displayed after
opening a project.
● Messages
Deactivated messages can be displayed.
● Language
Switch between the interface languages German and English.
The change takes affect when Expert is next started.

Delete backup files (*.bak)
Permits the management of configuration lists.
Configurations can be copied, renamed, linked,
removed, edited, etc.
Links in the project and components can be
adapted.
Allows components from a previous Expert ver‐
sion to be converted to the current Expert ver‐
sion in a folder.
Deletes the backup files created during the con‐
version.
