4.1 How to Check the Specifications and Performance

NOTICE: Make sure to request our authorized service
agent for repair of the instrument in case it
breaks down.
Repair by anyone who has not received
technical training by us is prohibited since it
could be hazardous.
• Thermocouple
(K type of Chinoh Co., protective tube of 1.6 dia. × 300 mm,
SUS 316 JIS class 1 (approved or calibrated item), or an
equivalent product)
• Thermometer
(one that is calibrated and able to measure down to 0.1 °C)
• Recorder
• Micro-syringe (for 50 μL)
• Methanol
Check in the following procedure whether the Chromaster 5310
column oven is controlled to the set temperature.
Set the oven temperature to room temperature (or 25 °C).

(2) After the oven stabilizes at the set temperature, set the
various parameters as follows.
Temperature setting : 40 °C
Tolerance range
Wait time
* Above parameters are set at factory shipment.
Specification: READY lamp of LEDs should come on within
10 minutes after setting to 40 °C.
