2-2 Operation

2-2-1 Pre-operation checks

Before starting operation, check the following:
(1) Wiring
1) A correct power supply is connected to the power
input terminals (three-phase 200V: L1, L2, L3;
single-phase 230V: L1, L2; single-phase 100V: L1,
L2) of the servo amplifier.
2) The servo motor power supply terminals (U, V, W)
of the servo amplifier match in phase with the
power input terminals (U, V, W) of the servo motor.
3) The servo motor power supply terminals (U, V, W)
of the servo amplifier are not shorted to the power
input terminals (L1, L2, L3) of the servo amplifier.
4) The servo amplifier and servo motor are grounded
securely.
5) When the regenerative brake option is used, the
lead has been removed across D-P of the control
circuit terminal block. Also, twisted cables are used
for its wiring.
6) When stroke end limit switches are used, the sig-
nals across LSP-SG and LSN-SG are on during op-
eration.
7) 24VDC or higher voltages are not applied to the
pins of connectors CN1A and CN1B.
8) SD and SG of connectors CN1A and CN1B are not
shorted.
9) The wiring cables are free from excessive force.
(2) Environment
Signal cables and power cables are not shorted by
wire offcuts, metallic dust or the like.
(3) Machine
1) The screws in the servo motor installation part and
shaft-to-machine connection are tight.
2) The servo motor and the machine connected with
the servo motor can be operated.
