Possible cause
Unable to store any docu-
ments with 2 Sided Book
Copy feature.
The press is unable to pro-
cess size, because the spe-
cified document area is too
small.
When setting a mixed size
document to Full Color/2
Side and attempting to scan
at 600dpi, an error occurs.
When scanning a mixed size
document using the 2 sided
simultaneous scan feature
with 300, 400, or 600 dpi,
an error occurs.
An error occurred in the
document feeder.
When scanning a mixed size
document using the 2 sided
simultaneous scan feature
with 400, or 600 dpi, an er-
ror occurs.
An incompatible combina-
tion of features is specified
in the document scan condi-
tions.
The paper size of the tray
selected for auto tray is dif-
ferent from the paper size
of the tray selected for Auto
Repeat.
When enlarging/reducing a
scanned document to the
specified paper size, the re-
duction/enlargement ratio
value exceeds the allowed
range.

Recommended solution
Check the 2 Sided Book Copy
settings.
Increase the resolution or
scan area size.
Decrease Scan Resolution to
400 dpi or less, and rescan.
Decrease Scan Resolution to
200 dpi or less, and rescan.
Reprocess the job.
Decrease Scan Resolution to
300 dpi or less, and rescan.
Check the selected options.
Change the paper size for the
tray, or change the Paper
Type Priority settings.
Take one of the following ac-
tions:
• Manually enter a reduc-
tion/enlargement ratio
• Change the paper size.
