Procedure
Step 1 Remove the front door cover from the door status sensor.
Step 2 Remove the cable cover from the middle of the door status sensor cover.
Step 3 Route the tin-plated end on the delivered cable through the cable hole in the door status sensor
base.
Step 4 Crimp the tin-plated end under the gaskets of the door status sensor cables, as shown in
2-86.

Step 5 Reinstall the cover on the door status sensor.
The cable holes in the door status sensor cover should match the positions of the door status
sensor cables.
Step 6 Connect cables to the door status sensor on the rear door by performing the preceding steps.
Step 7 Use a connector to connect the two cables from the front door and rear door in parallel.
Step 8 Connect the door status sensor monitoring cable to the connector.
Step 9 Connect the monitoring cable to the door status sensor.
