3. Connect the two SCSI type cables between the RAID unit and the SCSI controller card (in one
of the expansion slots in the computer):

Connect one cable between SCSI connector A on the RAID unit and SCSI connector 0 on
the PERC 3 SCSI controller board in the computer.

Connect the other cable between SCSI connector B on the RAID unit and SCSI connector 1
on the PERC 3 SCSI controller board in the computer.
4. Set the Bus Configuration switch for split-bus configuration (middle position).
5. Connect the keyboard and mouse to the computer.
6. Connect the computer power cord from the computer to a compatible power outlet.
7. Connect the two RAID power cords from the RAID unit power supply modules to compatible
power outlets.
8. Power up the RAID unit.
9. Power up the computer according to the Initial Power Up job card,
10. When Power up is complete, double-click on My Computer in the Dell 1400 desktop and look
for the RAID unit represented as a hard disk [RA600_wgs(F:)].
If the RAID unit does not appear, reboot the computer one more time.
11. Configure the RAID unit per job card CNF 008.
