Note:
There are no system requirements for the placement or the order of the RAM modules.

Rotate the power supply back down to its operating position and reconnect the CPU power
cord.

Power up the CPU. The system will recognize the additional RAM, however no user
intervention is required.
10.
When reboot is complete, on the Windows desktop, right-click on the My Computer icon and
select Manage.

In the Computer Management console window.

Click to expand the System Interface folder.

Click on System Information.

Click on System Summary. Refer to
d.
Check to make sure that the value for Total Physical Memory is correct according to the
post-upgrade number of RAM modules installed (e.g. Two 512MB RAM modules ~ 1.2 GB
RAM).
e.
Close out of the Computer Management console window.
