16. For a B+ flat panel monitor, the process is entirely automated because it has a built-in screen
sensor.
For other monitor types, follow the on-screen instructions to connect the screen sensor to the
workstation computer. The first time the process uses the sensor you will receive the message
to put the sensor on the table for a black calibration:
During calibration, you should use the ambient light shield of the sensor. At a subsequent
step, you are asked to remove the sensor and then add it back
17. After each monitor calibration completes, click OK to the pop-up "calibration was successful"
dialog box. After calibrating all displays, the Q/A Check is started; you should see the MediCal
Pro/Maintenance Q/A Tasks dialog box:
18. Click Yes to start the Q/A Check and follow the steps on the screen. For the B+ flat panel
monitor, most steps will be automated except for the Visual Check judgement calls. Other
monitors will require use of the screen sensor.
