Software Procedures
1. If not already done, power on the workstation.
2. Log in as user: Administrator. There may be no password set at this time. If a password has
been set it could be: (CANal1).
3. Navigate to C:\Drivers\ and choose the appropriate folder for your display(s). The MD4 and
MD5 boards use the same folder.
4. Within the folder, double click on the Setup.exe program and follow the setup instructions
provided to install the drivers.
5. When driver files have been installed, reboot when prompted.
6. Log into the system as Administrator. There may be no password set at this time. If a
password has been set it could be: (CANal1).
7. Click OK on the invalid display settings window and skip to step 11.
8. Click on Start > Settings > Control Panel.
9. Double click the Display icon in the Control Panel.
10. Select the Settings tab in the Display Panel.
11. Change the resolution and frequency settings for your video adaptor care as indicated in the
chart below. The DPI values are not needed at this point, however, they are listed below for
reference.
