5. Power up the computer. A mismatch error message will appear during system BIOS bootup.
6. When the mismatch error message appears on the monitor screen, press the <Ctrl>+<M>
keys to run the Configuration Utility.
7. In the Management Menu box, use the arrow and Enter keys to select Configure > View/Add
Configuration > View Disc Configuration.
8. Press F10 key to initiate autoconfiguration.
9. When the system asks whether to Save Configuration, answer Yes (with arrow & Enter keys).
10. Exit the Configuration Utility.
11. Reboot the system when prompted. The mismatch error message should not occur on this
boot.
12. Power down the computer and reconnect the two SCSI cables from the RAID unit.
13. Power up the RAID unit (both power switches).
14. Power up the Dell 1400 computer.
15. Double-click on My Computer in the Dell 1400 desktop and look for the RAID unit represented
as a hard disk [RA600 wgs(F:)].
If the RAID unit does not appear, reboot the computer one more time.
