Software Procedures
for an existing workstation are available, verify them against the workstation and then use them
as a reference when configuring the workstation during the baselining process.

If one exists, the configuration floppy may be used if the saved data is not suspect. Otherwise,
simply note the workstation's IP Address and Workstation Name, etc., for use when manually
configuring the workstation.

If the RadWorks Settings tool was used to save settings, locate the save location and retrieve the
settings files. Refer to job card VF 002.

New workstations will require that an IP Address and Workstation Name be supplied by the
hospital's IS or Network personnel. If you are assigning the workstation name, use existing
naming conventions, such as PLT001.
Section 4: Procedure
1.
Place the RA600 Workstation Recovery CD-ROM (1of 2) into the CD-ROM drive.
2.
Restart the workstation.
3.
The workstation will boot and the CD-ROM is auto-mounted.
Note:
For A, A+ and B-type systems, the boot information will appear only on the VGA service
monitor that is required for this procedure.
4.
Press the C key to continue.
5.
Press the Y key.
6.
Press Yes to answer Partition size correct?
7.
When screen asks whether to Proceed with disk load?, switch the answer to Yes.
The disk load will take approximately 10 minutes
