5.16 Connecting CNENs to the Service Network

This section explains how to connect CNENs to the NAS service network.
Prerequisites
The following tools and materials have been ready:

Context
By default, each CNEN is equipped with four service network ports.
CNENs can connect to the service host directly or through switches:

Connect one end of the network cable to heartbeat network port P2 on one CNEN and
the other end to heartbeat network port P2 on the other CNEN.

Connect heartbeat network port P0 on each CNEN to one Ethernet switch.
2.
Connect heartbeat network port P2 on each CNEN to the other Ethernet switch.

Optical fibers, fiber bundling tapes, 8 Gbit/s optical transceivers (applied when the CNEN
