6.2 Removing a Filler Panel from a Cabinet

If the planned installation locations in a cabinet are covered with filler panels, remove them
before installing devices. If the planned installation locations are not covered by filler panels,
skip this section.
Prerequisites
The following tools and materials have been ready:

Procedure
Step 1 Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove M6 screws from a filler panel.
It is recommended that you reserve 1 U space between every two components to install a filler panel for proper
heat dissipation.
Step 2 Remove the filler panel from the cabinet.
Step 3 Use a floating nut mounting bar to remove floating nuts.
