6.4 Installing a Clustered NAS Engine Enclosure

Installing a clustered NAS engine enclosure into a cabinet includes sliding the clustered NAS
engine enclosure into the cabinet, securing the clustered NAS engine enclosure, and checking
the installation result.
Prerequisites
Adjustable guide rails have been assembled.
The following tools and materials have been ready:

Context
The clustered NAS engine enclosure is heavy and should be installed into a cabinet by three
people.
Before installing a clustered NAS engine enclosure, install floating nuts nowhere but at the
marked positions above the adjustable guide rails since adjustable guide rails themselves provide
screw holes for securing the clustered NAS engine enclosure.
Procedure
Step 1 Insert the lower end of a floating nut into a planned square hole, as shown in step 1 of
6-3.
