8.1.2 Inserting the SIM card
The EK205-M has mini-SIM slot for the SIM installation. The SIM installation steps are as follows:

For EK205-M powered with external power supply for the basic device, the external supply must be
switched off before opening the housing.
Danger of death!
For EK205-M powered with external power supply for the basic device, the external
power supply voltage must be switched off before opening the housing, ensure it is not
turned back on and verify that there is no voltage.

Remove the four screws from the top of the EK205-M and open it. (see Fig. 22)

Disconnect the modem and basic device battery if already connected. (see Fig. 23 and Fig. 24)
