10.2.2 Enter battery capacity

The battery capacity needs to be re-entered after a battery replacement.

To open the administrator lock, move the cursor to the Admin tab and via the following
path to the Cod.A value (administrator key entry):

Admin. Device settings
After delivery, the administrator key for keyboard entry is 00000000.
Press the key combination ENTER  +   One digit of the value flashes.

◼ Move the cursor with the arrow buttons  or  to the digits and change these with the
arrow buttons  or .
After the value has been entered, press the key combination ENTER  +  in order to

confirm the input. It is possible to abort the entry by pressing the key combination ESC 
+ .

To enter the battery capacity, move the cursor to the Serv. tab and via the following path
to the Bat.C value (battery capacity):

Serv. Batteries
Press the key combination ENTER  +   One digit of the value flashes.

Move the cursor with the arrow buttons  or  to the digits and change these with the

arrow buttons  or .
When using a battery of the D value, set the Bat.C value to 13.0 Ah.
After the value has been entered, press the key combination ENTER  +  in order to

confirm the input. It is possible to abort the entry by pressing the key combination ESC 
+ .

To close the administrator lock, move the cursor to the Admin tab and via the following
path to the St.AL value (administrator lock status):


Press the key combination ENTER  +   "open" flashes.

◼ Move the cursor with the arrow keys  or  to change the value to "closed".
After the value has been entered, press the key combination ENTER  +  in order to

confirm the input. It is possible to abort the entry by pressing the key combination ESC 
+ .

10.2.3 Display remaining operating duration of the battery

The calculation of the remaining operating duration is carried out depending on the
consumed capacity (which is measured) and the consumption expected for the
future (which results in the theoretical remaining operation duration). For that
reason, for applications with strong power consumption may result in the remaining
operating duration falling faster than the indication of the remaining operating
duration promises.
A fresh calculation of the remaining operating duration is automatically carried out
after entering a new battery capacity Bat.C (see above). It is not possible to edit the
value.
 
