The sealing of the sealing points Fig. 17/3 for securing the pulse inputs and pulse
outputs is subject to national law (see WELMEC 11.1, section 2.7.1).
Depending on the legal situation in the country of use, seals from a group of people
set out in law or from meter operators must be used.
If devices are delivered with connected input and/or output cables then seals with
the manufacturer's symbol are applied at the plant. If necessary, these can be
substituted on site as described above.
6.3.2.3 Sensors
The sealing of the connected temperature and pressure sensors is illustrated in
sections 6.2.3 and 6.2.4 as an example.

6.3.3 Close housing

CAUTION!
Damage to property caused by improper device closure!
If the device is not properly closed cables can get pinched and cause damage.
Therefore:
Ensure correct positioning of the cable guide when closing.

6.3.4 Check installation and connection

WARNING!
Risk from improper installation and connection!
Improper installation and connection of the EK205-M may result in fatal situations.
Therefore:
– Carry out the installation and connection of the EK205-M correctly.
– Observe the requirements of the standards and guidelines stated in the design
test certificates.
Installation, connection and commissioning
1. Close the housing using the four pre-installed
screws (Fig. 19: 1 ).
2. Do not close the cable screw connections used with
matching sealing plugs.
