6.3.1.5 Setting the volume at base conditions
It is possible to set up the meter when first operating the EK205-M provided that the administrator
lock is open. Setting the volume is always possible when the calibration lock is open.

Open the administrator lock or the calibration lock.

Move the cursor to the "Serv" tab and via the following path to the value "VbA" (adjustable
standard volume meter) input mode:

Serv. Volume
Press the key combination ENTER  +   One digit of the value flashes.

Move the cursor with the arrow buttons  or  to the digits and change these with the

arrow buttons  or .
◼ After all digits have been changed, press the key combination ENTER  +  in order to
confirm the input. It is possible to abort the entry by pressing the key combination ESC 
+ .

To adopt the value set, move the cursor to the Store value.
Press the key combination ENTER  +   "0" flashes.

◼ Change the value using the arrow buttons  or  to "1".
◼ After the value has been changed, press the key combination ENTER  +  in order to
confirm the input. It is possible to abort the entry by pressing the key combination ESC 
+ .  For Vb, VbA is adopted.
If the administrator lock is open and the transfer of VbA for Vb is rejected with the –
13– message then this process has already been carried out.
Further changes are possible when either the calibration lock or the administration
lock is open, after deleting the change information regarding setting Vb (see section
6.3.1.6).
6.3.1.6 Deleting change information for alignment of Vb
To allow for resetting of the standard volume when the administrator lock is open, the change
information regarding setting at the same value as "Vb" must be deleted:

Open the calibration lock

Move the cursor to the "Serv." tab and via the following path to the value "Clear"
(adjustable volume at base conditions) input mode:

Serv. Volume
Press the key combination ENTER  +   "0" flashes.

◼ Change the value using the arrow buttons  or  to "1".
◼ After the value has been changed, press the key combination ENTER  +  in order to
confirm the input. It is possible to abort the entry by pressing the key combination ESC 
+ .  "TimeX" (time stamp of the alignment), "Vb_o" (Vb old value), "Vb_n" (Vb new
value) are set to the default values.
6.3.1.7 Setting compressibility equation and gas analysis

(compressibility equation):
