Task List
There are many parameters for all tasks displayed in the task list, such as the task name, type, audio
source, groups, priority, repeat, interval time, resume, busy wait, record, Min. Duration, etc.
Tasks shown in the list can be filtered according to the condition at the top. The filters conditions can
be All Tasks, Normal Tasks, Emergency Tasks or Timing Tasks.
Adding Play Task
Click the
icon in the top right corner of the task list and the window is displayed as below:
Users need to enter the task name, type, policy, groups and contact output.
Task name
This is the description of a task, which will be used to identify the task.
Type
Broadcast tasks are divided into normal and emergency tasks, which have different priorities. The
lower the value, the higher priority it has.
Normal is used for public address, such as normal background music, operation broadcast, voice
broadcast, etc. The priority range is 56–255.
Emergency is used for fire emergency broadcast. The priority range is 1–55.
Audio Source
There are many audio sources, such as playlist, input, call station, PTT microphone and temporary
recorded files.

Playlist: the audio files are usually used for voice alarm, background music, etc. Users can
also add prompt tone files into the playlist as needed.

Input: normally means the external audio input interface of the RK-MCU, such as AUX1,
AUX2 and MIC/LINE input.

Call Station: the audio source from the call station, such as a microphone or line in.

PTT Microphone: the PTT microphone on the front panel of the RK-MCU.

Temporary Record File: the audio file recorded by temporary recording operation, which is
stored in the RK-MCU.
