1 System Overview

This INTEVIO PA/VA System provides a number of public address solutions. It is highly integrated
with device simplification, easy expansion, simple installation, convenient operation, etc. The system
is designed in accordance with EN 50849:2017 and EN 54-16:2008.
This chapter mainly introduces the system features, composition, structure, applications and briefly
describes each device's feature, component and technical specification.

System Introduction

System Features

Centralized system, easy to expand.
Supports 2 audio channels, usable as a public address and/or voice alarm system.
Simple installation, commissioning and convenient operation.
Digital volume control for each audio input and output.
Class-D technology, which leads to lower energy consumption of the system.
Built-in mass memory, which is used to store audio files, configuration data, log files, etc.
Supports temporary recording and automatic recording.
Supports external power amplifier(s) to increase the system power output.
Flexible amplifier backup.
Built-in loudspeaker to monitor audio source.
Built-in 500W Class-D power amplifier in RK-MCU.
Full system supervision, including main/backup power supply, CPU, microphone, power
amplifier loop, communication, speaker lines and contact inputs, etc.
A short circuit or an interruption in loudspeaker lines can be found within 100s and isolated
automatically, which won't affect other loudspeaker lines.
Fault status indicating by lights and LCD.
PTT microphone of RK-MIC can broadcast live messages to all zones even during a system
CPU failure on RK-MCU.
Timing data can be configured via software and uploaded to Master Control Unit.
The system supports a maximum of 128 zones.
A maximum of 6 remote call stations can be connected for live announcements and other
broadcast operations.
The zone expander has an independent audio input interface, which can be used in
standalone mode or while RK-MCU is in CPU failure.
