CH2B can be connected with the 100 V audio signal from an external power amplifier, which
corresponds to audio channel 2 and loudspeaker lines 5 to 8.

SPARE IN can be connected with a backup power amplifier, SPARE OUT interface from MCU
or other zone expanders.

SPARE OUT can be connected with the SPARE IN interfaces of other zone expanders.
These terminal connections are provided with the product. A cable with a cross-section of 0.5mm
2
to 1.5mm is recommended.
Loudspeaker Interface
The MCU has 2 groups (A and B) of loudspeaker line terminals. Each group can separately connect
to 8 loudspeaker lines. The interfaces of 1A and 1B may be connected to two different speaker lines
in the same zone, they will broadcast the same audio signal and can't be controlled separately. If an
open circuit should occur on one speaker line, others won't be affected. While broadcasting, if a short
circuit fault occurs on one speaker line, others will be momentarily affected, then the speaker line
with the short circuit will be isolated, and the affected lines will recover.
Connection terminals are provided with the product. A cable with a cross-section of 0.5mm

1.5mm is recommended.
Contact Input
There are 10 contact inputs which can be supervised as needed. The interfaces can be directly
connected with the dry contact output of third-party device(s). Other power sources must not be
connected to these ports.
When the supervision function is disabled, the dry contact output of the third-party device can be
directly connected to contact inputs. When the supervision function is enabled, two 10k ohm resistors
should be installed on the dry contact outputs of the third-party device, shown as below.
The connection terminals are provided with the product, a cable with a cross-section of 0.5mm

1.5mm is recommended.
Note:
The contact input voltage is 24 V DC and should only be connected to a switch or relay. Check the
signal type of the interfaces of the third device before installation. Do not connect to an external
power source. If the output of the third-party device has voltage, please use a relay to convert the
signal to a dry contact.
