Note: Emergency microphones include RK-MIC (Remote Call Station), HMC-K4 (Extension
Keypad, optional) and/or HMC-K8 (Extension Keypad, optional), which may be placed on the
desktop, installed in the rack with X-NPMS-R (Rack Mounted Panel for Remote Call Station) or
installed on a wall with X-NPMS-W (Lockable wall mounted box for Remote Call Station). If RK-
MIC is installed in the rack or on a wall, HN-PTT (PTT Microphone) is required, and HMC-K4/HMC-
K8 will be unavailable. Emergency microphones are connected to the Master Control Unit via
twisted-pair cable (fire-rated where applicable).
