ivr nat

To explicitly enable Network Address Translation (NAT) functionality for Inter-VSAN Routing (IVR),
use the ivr nat command in configuration mode. To disable this feature, use the no form of the command.
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or keywords.

Usage Guidelines
The ivr nat command allows you to explicitly enable NAT functionality of IVR. Upgrading to SAN-OS
Release 2.x from SAN-OS Release 1.3.x does not automatically enable the Fibre Channel NAT
functionality. This command also allows you to continue to operate in non-NAT mode even in SAN-OS
Release 2.x and later.
Note
You might need to operate in non-NAT mode to support proprietary protocols that embed FCIDs in the
frame payloads.
Examples
The following example shows how to explicitly enable NAT functionality for IVR.
switch# config terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line.
