Press the old bearing out of the crankcase (page 17-71
Record the I.D. code letter (A, B or Cl, or measure the
crankcase I.D. after the bearing has been removed.
Record the main journal O.D. code number ( 1 . 2 or 31

Cross-reference the case and journal codes t o determine the
