MSTP Port Configuration

The following example shows how to configure MSTP on interface 1/1/1 and how to display
the configuration.
1. Enter into interface 1/1/1 configuration mode:
device-name#configure terminal
device-name(config)#interface 1/1/1
2. Assign port priority 2 to instance 1, and path cost 22 to instance 2:
device-name(config-if 1/1/1)#mstp 1 port-priority 2
device-name(config-if 1/1/1)#mstp 2 path-cost 22
device-name(config-if 1/1/1)#end
3. Display the MSTP port configuration:
device-name#show mstp instance all interface 1/1/1
