AC power is absent.

Checks
1 Is the power plug connected to the
power outlet?
2 Is the rated AC voltage present at the
power outlet?
3 Is the rated voltage present between
F3 and F4 of RL1?
4 Check both terminals of the circuit
breaker (CB1, CB2) for electrical
continuity. Is it 0Ω?
5 Connect the probes of the meter to
both terminals of the power switch
(SW1). Is it 0Ω when the switch is
turned ON, and ∞Ω when the switch
is turned OFF?
Yes/No

Action
NO Connect the power plug.
NO The problem is not of the
copier. Advise the user.
YES Go to step 5.
NO Press the button on the
circuit breaker to check
for electrical continuity; if
not 0Ω, replace the circuit
breaker (CB1, CB2).
YES Check or replace the
power cord and the line
filter (LF1).
NO Replace SW1.
YES Check the wiring of the
AC power line and con-
nector for poor contact.
