USB Connection

The micro USB socket is waterproof but the rubber dust cover is not intended to be.
Before using the USB port, please check for and remove any water, sand, or other
debris. It is safe to rinse the USB socket under a gently running tap. Be careful when
using a USB cable connected with the handheld resting flat on a surface as too much
force on the enclosure could damage the USB socket.

Accessories

A ¼-inch deep threaded socket on the rear of the enclosure allows a range of standard
camera fittings to be used to mount the handheld.

USB Cable

Although any micro USB cable can be plugged into the PSDS for communications
and configuration a right-angled connector puts less mechanical strain on the
connector and socket.
The correctly orientated right angle USB cables are available as an accessory.
