Field Cable Preparation (4 Wire Shown)

Strip 15 mm to 20 mm of outer sheath. Strip 2 mm of insulation from each conductor.
Conductor diameter of Belden 9504 cable is at the maximum accommodated by
connector solder buckets, so check fit before tinning. Note: Pin 1 is identified with a
single triangle and Pin 2 by dual triangles.
The diagram below shows the recommended wire lengths to fit inside the plug body.
This also shows the recommended method to use when one wire is required to
connect to two connector pins:

If a cable is already connected to the connector, remember to unscrew the cable
clamp before unscrewing the main body of the connector. Otherwise, the user risks
twisting the cable and breaking the connections.
If the main body is difficult to unscrew, it may be easier to lock the connector to the
handheld. Grip and unscrew the main body in a counter-clockwise direction.
