Introduction
xConfiguration Network [1..1] QoS Diffserv Signalling
Note: This setting will only take effect if Network QoS Mode is set to Diffserv.
Define which priority Signalling packets that are deemed critical (time-sensitive) for the real-time opera-
tion should have in the IP network.
The priority for the packets ranges from 0 to 63 - the higher the number, the higher the priority. The
recommended class for Signalling is CS3, which equals the decimal value 24. If in doubt, contact your
network administrator.
The priority set here might be overridden when packets are leaving the network controlled by the local
network administrator.
Requires user role: ADMIN
Value space: <0..63>
Range: Select a value between 0 to 63 - the higher the number, the higher the priority. The default
value is 0 (best effort).
example: xConfiguration Network 1 QoS Diffserv Signalling: 0
xConfiguration Network [1..1] QoS Diffserv ICMPv6
Note: This setting will only take effect if Network QoS Mode is set to Diffserv.
Define which priority ICMPv6 packets should have in the IP network.
The priority for the packets ranges from 0 to 63 - the higher the number, the higher the priority. The recom-
mended value for ICMPv6 is 0, which means best effort. If in doubt, contact your network administrator.

Note: This setting will only take effect if Network QoS Mode is set to Diffserv.
Define which priority NTP packets should have in the IP network.
The priority for the packets ranges from 0 to 63 - the higher the number, the higher the priority. The
recommended value for NTP is 0, which means best effort. If in doubt, contact your network administrator.
The priority set here might be overridden when packets are leaving the network controlled by the local
network administrator.
Requires user role: ADMIN
Value space: <0..63>
Range: Select a value between 0 to 63 - the higher the number, the higher the priority. The default
value is 0 (best effort).
example: xConfiguration Network 1 QoS Diffserv NTP: 0
The system can be connected to an IEEE 802.1X LAN network, with a port-based network access control
that is used to provide authenticated network access for Ethernet networks.
Requires user role: ADMIN
Value space: <Off/On>
Off: The 802.1X authentication is disabled (default).
On: The 802.1X authentication is enabled.
example: xConfiguration Network 1 IEEE8021X Mode: Off
Verification of the server-side certificate of an IEEE802.1x connection against the certificates in the local
CA-list when TLS is used. The CA-list must be uploaded to the video system.
This setting takes effect only when Network [1..1] IEEE8021X Eap Tls is enabled (On).
Requires user role: ADMIN
Value space: <Off/On>
Off: When set to Off, TLS connections are allowed without verifying the server-side X.509 certificate
against the local CA-list. This should typically be selected if no CA-list has been uploaded to the codec.
On: When set to On, the server-side X.509 certificate will be validated against the local CA-list for
all TLS connections. Only servers with a valid certificate will be allowed.
example: xConfiguration xConfiguration Network 1 IEEE8021X TlsVerify: Off
