5.1 Recording Function
Check point
Is a value stored in each corresponding buffer memory when
numerical value data and string data are added in a recording
setting?
(Page 228 Recording operation specification area

Does the number of characters set in the saving detail setting
match the character string length in the buffer memory storing
string data, when the string data is added in the recording
setting?
Does the number of characters in information added to the
recording file name exceed the number of available
characters?
Are the characters in a trigger comment or string data
available ones?
Is the event detection function of a network camera running?
Is a network camera set to detect camera events?
Is a recorder module or camera recorder module with a
firmware version supporting camera events used?
Are the camera event setting and the camera event trigger
setting disabled?
Corrective action
• Store a value in the buffer memory for a recording setting in
which data is added.
For details on the recording file name, refer to the following:

• Set them to match.

Set the number of characters within the number of available
ones.
For the number of available characters for a recording file

in the saving detail setting
• Make sure that the event detection function of the network
camera is running.
If the function does not run, refer to the manual for the network
camera to take corrective action.

The setting procedure differs depending on a network camera

corrective action.
• Update the module to a firmware version supporting camera
events.
