6.1.1 Monthly Maintenance

This section describes routine maintenance items for an indoor unit. Record
maintenance results in the table after a maintenance item is complete.

Exercise caution during professional maintenance. For details, contact

When replacing a component, do not lean the component against the
cabinet.
Operation
Check that the air filter is
clean and not blocked.
Check that the air filter is
not damaged or distorted.
Check that the indoor fan
guard is not distorted.
Check that the indoor fan
blades are intact.
Check that no foreign
matter exists in the fan.
Check that the indoor fan
generates no abnormal
sound during operation,
such as metal friction sound
and harsh noises.
Check that the screws on
the indoor fan are not loose
or distorted.
Water pan is not blocked.
Check that no operating
overtime alarm is generated
on the wet film humidifier.
Check that the chilled water
valve is secure and that the
actuator cable is connected
securely.

Troubleshooting
Clean the air filter.
Replace the air filter (It is
recommended that an air filter
should be replaced every 6
months).
Repair or replace the fan guard.
Replace the fan.
Clear foreign matter.
Clear foreign matter and check
that screws securing the fan are
tightened.
Tighten or replace the screws.
Clean the water pan.
Replace the wet film humidifier (It
is recommended that an air filter
should be replaced every 12
months).
Secure the chilled water valve and
the actuator cable.
