4.10 Checking After Commissioning

Table 4-10 Commissioning checklist
Check Item
No oil stain exists on the copper pipe thermal insulation
foam or bottom plate, or it has been cleaned.
The needle valve plug is secured (torque of 0.45±0.05 N
m), and valve bonnet is tightened.
The foreign matter inside the water pan and bottom plate
is cleaned up.
The air filter is correctly installed according to the air flow
direction on the frame.
Check that the chilled water valve is closed.
Issue 07 (2021-12-30)
(For the downflow units) Connect a nitrogen cylinder to the drainage needle
valve 1 and 2 of the heat exchanger, set the intake pressure to 0.5 MPa, and
blow nitrogen into the valve for 10 minutes so that the water flows out of the
drainage needle valve 3 and 4. Then connect the nitrogen cylinder to the
drainage needle valves 3 and 4 of the heat exchanger, set the intake pressure
to 0.5 MPa, and blow nitrogen into the valve for 10 minutes, so that the
water flows out of the drainage needle valve 1 and 2.
NO TE
● A rubber hose is required when high-pressure nitrogen is connected to a needle valve.
● When using high-pressure nitrogen to drain water, prevent the remaining water in the
water pan from splashing.
