RA-2000 Remote Annunciator Installation

4.9 RA-2000 Remote Annunciator Installation
The optional RA-2000 Remote Annunciator can be surface or flush mounted. It is available in gray as RA-2000GRAY.
RA-2000 installation involves the following steps:
1.
Ensure power is off at the panel.
2.
Mount the RA-2000 in the desired location (see Section 4.9.1).
3.
Connect the RA-2000 to the panel (see Section 4.9.2).
4.
Use the DIP switches on the back of the RA-2000 to assign an SBUS ID# (see Section 4.15.1).
5.
The RA-2000 module must be added to the system through programming. JumpStart Auto-Programming will add the module
automatically (see Section 8.2).
4.9.1 Mounting the RA-2000
This section of the manual describes mounting the remote annunciator. The annunciator can be flush or surface mounted.
Flush Mounting
This section of the manual describes flush mounting. Follow these steps to flush mount theRA-2000.
1.
The back box dimensions are 9-1/4" W x 8-3/8" H. The minimum depth required is 2". The backbox can be mounted prior to the
complete installation of the RA-2000 using any of the mounting holes shown below.
2.
Remove knockouts as needed for wires. There are 10 knockouts available, two on each side and two in the back of the cabinet.
3.
Wire the annunciator board to the main control panel as shown in Figure 4.26.
