Travel motor
Operation of motor
1) At slow speed (motor swash plate angle at maximum)
As the solenoid valve is de-energized, the pilot
q
pressurized oil from the self pressure reducing
valve does not flow to port (P).
q Regulator valve (9) is pushed to the right by
spring (10).
q Pressurized oil being conducted from the con-
trol valve to end cover (8) by pressing check
valve (22) is shut off by regulator valve (9).
q Fulcrum (a) of rocker cam (4) is eccentric to
the working point (b) of the combined force of
the propulsion force of cylinder (6).

The combined force of the piston propulsion
q
forces works as the moment of inclining rocker
cam (4) toward the maximum swash plate
angle.
The pressurized oil at regulator piston (15)
q
passes through orifice (c) of regulator valve (9)
and is drained to the motor case.
Rocker cam (4) is inclined in the maximum
q
swash plate angle direction. The motor capac-
ity becomes maximum, turning on the low
speed travel.
