Description
This command specifies the type of RIP messages sent to RIP neighbors. This control can be
issued at the global, group or interface level. The default behavior sends RIPv2 messages with

If version-1 is specified, the router only listens for and accepts packets sent to the broadcast
address.
The no form of this command resets the type of messages sent back to the default value.
Default
no send — Sends RIPv2 to the broadcast address.
Parameters
broadcast — Send RIPv2 formatted messages to the broadcast address.
