DS-1 electrical interface adapters are installed on every transmit and receive connector for DS-1
ports.
Wire-wrap posts on the DS-1 electrical interface adapters are used to connect the terminated
incoming cables.
SMB EIAs feature cable-management eyelets for tie wrapping or lacing cables to the cover
panel.
The following procedure explains how to install the rear cover.
