3.14.8 Error codes for Firmware Update Tool

Please install .Net Framework v4.5 or later.

The required file is not found.
[Invalid file name]
1004
The VFD firmware was not found.

1005 The application cannot start up on a 32-bit
operating system.
[Invalid VFD firmware]
2000 to 2800
The VFD firmware cannot be read correctly.
[No Ethernet adapter]
3000
The Ethernet adapter was not found.
[Network scan]
4000
The VFD was not found on the network.
[Invalid target]
5000
The target VFD is not selected.
7000 This VFD is not supported.
8000 to 8A01 Failed to update.
9000 Failed to clear the alarm history.
9001 Failed to clear all parameter settings.
Error message Countermeasure
Use computers with Windows 10 or later.
Install .Net Framework v4.5 or later.
The required file is not found.
Reinstall FR Configurator2.
Check that the firmware file is in the folder specified in "Select
VFD firmware" section.
Use a 64-bit operating system.
The firmware file may be damaged.
Download the firmware file from the Mitsubishi Electric FA
Global Website again.
Check that the inverters are connected via Ethernet and the
power of the inverters are ON.
Scan the network after selecting the adapter.
Check that the power of the inverters are ON.
Check that the inverters are connected via Ethernet.
Check that "5001" and "45237" are set in any two parameters
from Pr.1427 to Pr.1430 Ethernet function selection.
Select the inverters whose firmware are to be updated, and
perform firmware update.
Firmware Update Tool is not available for a selected inverter.
When "Err" is displayed on the operation panel or an inverter
does not start up properly, turn OFF and then ON the power.
An error occurred during the update. Check the following points
and perform the update again.
· Check if the inverter's power is OFF.
· Check for a break in the USB/Ethernet cable.
· When the firmware of inverters having addresses in different
networks are to be updated, check that the settings of Pr.442 to
Pr.445 Default gateway address are correct.
· Download the firmware file again as it may be damaged.
An error occurred while clearing the fault history after the
firmware update. Clear the fault history in the inverter manually.
An error occurred during All parameter clear after the firmware
update. Perform All parameter clear in the inverter manually.
