Clock cycles and position-control cycle offset

Cycle times
The NC derives the cycle times (system clock cycle, position-control cycle and interpolator
cycle) from the equidistant PROFIBUS-DP cycle set in the SIMATIC S7 project during
configuration of the PROFIBUS.
Basic system clock cycle
MD10050 $MN_SYSCLOCK_CYCLE_TIME (system clock cycle)
The system clock cycle is set to the fixed ratio 1:1 with respect to the PROFIBUS-DP cycle. It
cannot be changed.
Position controller cycle
MD10061 $MN_POSCTRL_CYCLE_TIME (position-control cycle)
The position controller cycle is set to the fixed ratio 1:1 with respect to the system clock cycle.
It cannot be changed.
Interpolation cycle
MD10070 $MN_IPO_SYSCLOCK_TIME_RATIO (factor for the interpolation cycle)
The interpolator cycle may be chosen freely as a integer multiples of the position control
cycle.
Position control cycle offset
MD10062 $MN_POSCTRL_CYCLE_DELAY (position control cycle offset)
The offset for the position-control cycle (T
