9.4 Test Connectors

84 SBC330 3U VPX Single Board Computer
P11 is a 0.05" (1.27mm) pitch 16‐way header, included for communication
between the MC8641 processor and a WindRiver VisionICE/VisionProbe
emulator. An adapter (SBC330EMU‐11) is required for connection between the
Emulator and the board. The adapter can be used even if the heatsink metalwork
is fitted to the board.

SBC330 has two flat‐panel‐cable connectors on its rear side at the front edge: J200,
30‐way and J201, 10‐way. These connectors are ZIF‐type. They are not intended
for customer use and so the pinout of the connectors is not given here.
The smaller 10‐way connector is wired to the various power supply rails to assist
any on‐board power sequencing issues. The 30‐way connector carries the 8641
Processor debug port, plus 12 lines that are connected to the on‐board FPGA.
Customers are advised to remove or secure the ZIF‐locks on these connectors for
high‐vibration use. The connector body has been vibration proven at all
environmental levels.
For deep embedded test purposes only, a separate card, SBC330_TB has been
designed to break out these connections to a high speed logic analyzer header and
high‐frequency Oscilloscope feeds.
