Outbound Call Codec Selection Codes

Codec call selection codes affect voice quality. For more information about voice
codecs, see the
"Supported Codecs" section on page
You can choose a

Prefer G.711u (*017110)
codec for next outbound call. If the preferred codec is unavailable, the
second, then the third preferred codec is used, if specified (see the
"Configuring Voice Codecs" section on page

Dual Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) is the system used by touch-tone phones.
