■Procedure for setting a password
1.
Enter the current password in the "Enter Current Password" screen and press the key.
The "Create New Password" screen appears.
If no password has been set, the "Create New Password" screen appears. Start from step 2.
2.
Enter a new password in the "Create New Password" screen and press the key.
The "Confirm New Password" screen appears.
3.
Enter the password set in step 2 in the "Confirm New Password" screen and press the key.
■Procedure for deleting a password
1.
Enter the current password in the "Enter Current Password" screen and press the key.
2.
Enter nothing in the "Create New Password" screen and press the key.
The confirmation screen for deleting the password appears.
3.
Select "Yes" for "Clear Old Password. Continue?" and press the key.
Description
Set a password to start the BIOS setup.
Follow the rules listed below:
• The number of characters must be between 1 and 20.
• Only alphabets and numbers are available.
• Alphabet characters are not case-sensitive.
Set whether to enable the secure boot.
• Disabled: The secure boot is disabled. (Default)
• Enabled: The secure boot is enabled.
