Considerations for Configuring a System

This section shows the considerations for configuring a system of this product.

Development environment (Visual Studio)

Visual Studio 2017 and Visual Studio 2019 cannot be installed on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2019 that is pre-installed
on this product. Another personal computer is required as the development environment to create a user program. When
installing Visual Studio, check the system requirements and the support status such as supported operating system and
hardware in advance.

SD memory card

The following shows the considerations for using an SD memory card.
Available SD memory cards
Only the SD memory cards described in the following can be used for this product.

If another SD memory card is used, data in the SD memory card may be corrupted or the system may stop.
Note the following when using an SD memory card:
• Turning OFF the power of this product, resetting the hardware, or restarting Windows forcibly while accessing an SD
memory card may cause data corruption in the SD memory card or a file system error. Perform these operations after
stopping access to the SD memory card.
SD memory card life
For the number of writable times of an SD memory card, check the manual provided with the SD memory card. When the
number of writable times is exceeded, replace the SD memory card. (Page 79 SD Memory Card)
