Step 4. Set Trigger Text Strings

The fields on the Text Event Setup screen are the same as on the Motion Event Setup
screen (see page 78) except for the Text Trigger Strings button.
Text strings are used by the HRDV system to detect text input that matches the text string
data selected. When the HRDV detects text matches, selected camera video is recorded
and the text at the associated text port is recorded and can be mapped to display with the
associated camera as video during playback.
Select Text Trigger Strings on the Text Event Setup screen to go to the screen shown in
Figure 20-4. Depending on the Event Text you selected on the Text Event Setup screen, a
screen similar to Figure 20-4 appears.
