Step 1. Set Up Text Ports

The HRDV16/8 has four Text Insertion ports on the back of the unit. This chapter covers:
•
Setting up the four Text Insertion ports
•
Setting transaction text events on a per-port basis
•
Setting up interface for POS and cash registers

For each connected Text Insertion port you need to enter the technical data associated
with the input device. Each camera can record the text input from any one port.
Use the Text Port screen to:
•
Set up the baud rates
•
Set all the associated configuration data for each of the connected transaction text
ports
Access the Text Port screen as follows: MENU
