The HRDV Digital Video Recorder (HRDV16 and HRDV8) is the heart of your integrated
security solution. The HRDV16/8 combines the following functions:

Digital video recorder

Timelapse VCR/event recorder
•
16-channel multiplexer (HRDV8 has an 8-channel multiplexer)
•
Video motion detector
•
Text inserter (four serial ports)
•
Remote video transmission system
•
Evidence CD with Viewer
The HRDV16/8 features include:

Traditional timelapse VCR recording function
•
Video motion detection
•
Easy HRDV configuration mode
•
Go to search function lets you preview video immediately after changing date, time
and camera values
•
Go To function:
If Timelapse is selected and a Go To performed, you can play back video like one
big VCR tape without having to jump from clip to clip.
If Event is selected and a Go To performed, you may only be able to play back
video from within a single, short video clip.
•
QNX real time operating system
•
HRDV firmware stored in flash memory for an easy upgrade that can be done locally
or remotely
•
Multiplexed video from up to16 video sources (8 for HRDV8) with multiscreen
display
•
Duplex operation allows local reviewing without interrupting recording
•
Inserts transaction text information from ATM or POS terminals (generic cash
register interface, for example)
•
Remote network or modem connection
•
Graphical on-screen Programming mode
